Reasons for Change

Posted by Shane Hudson On March - 20 - 2009

I do not like change but sometimes it is needed. As you should have noticed, we have made a few changes this week. Today I would like to talk about why we have done this and what we are going to do in the future.

The Logo

Our most obvious change we made was changing the logo. This was a hard decision. The original logo was courtesy of Scott from IrnMedia.net, he is one of our loyal readers and a very good friend so it was hard to tell him that we were going to get rid of his logo. I did not make this decision because I do not like it, I still find it very impressive, I made it because my intention has always been to push Success Circuit to it’s highest potential. The previous logo was not a vector, which meant that size changing was always going to be somewhat a problem. This new logo, which was designed by Status By Design, allows for a much thinner header and future advancements. Remember, we are in our early days so are coming up with new ideas all the time. Before

After

This new logo may not be quite as obvious as the old one. The old logo reflects the name very well, however many people have said that they thought it was a blog about racing. So for the new design we tried to go more along the lines of “Success” rather than “Circuit”, which is why you can see both the person jumping and the arrow pointing upwards.

As always, we are looking for changes to be made. What can you think of? The first thing I can see is that we still have no slogan. This means that people cannot instantly know what we do. So can you think of a slogan that sums Success Circuit up? I may even be giving a prize from the contest to the person who comes up with the best slogan! Also, what would you like to see to the right of the logo? Currently it is a lot of empty space.

Interviews

As you know, interviews are very important to Success Circuit because it allows you to understand that everybody goes through hard times and interviews have helped many people to see how to self-improve. We have added the interviews section to the navigation bar, for easy access, and we have changed the actual page itself. We believe that it is a good idea to just list the interviews rather than show each of them on that page. What do you think? We are thinking about adding photos to that page as well. Please share your opinions.

I think that is everything we need to speak of today, we would really appreciate your comments. I know that you are reading this, so I would like to know if you like the way Success Circuit is heading. As you may have noticed, I have been very busy lately so have missed many posts, this may carry on for a while so I shall write a post about it soon. What do you think we should do to improve Success Circuit and improve you?

Thank you,

Shane
