Visit your grandparents (if you can) and talk with them about their years of growing up, compare the differences between then and now, what's changed? What hasn't? etc. I know when I spoke to my grandma about it I was quite surprised at some of the things she was telling me. I tend to like to watch factual TV or pieces found on the Internet.
