All are informative and good posts. I learn many new things from this blog.

I agree that you have to try to balance serious and fun posts. You want to entertain people, but you also want to teach them something. By keeping them entertained, they are much more likely to keep coming back to you blog.

I think personality is a must. It is true that this blog mostly covers fairly serious topics, but people like something they can connect with. Make a point of trying to interview successful people who do things a bit differently. Find people who are outgoing and likable.

I think that it is important to be informative. If you can do that and entertain at the same time, then I think that you are doing your job well.

It depends on your style. Try to do it 50-50 for everyone's sake.

I like a serious tone, but I don't mind either one, if anything I am a easy reader to keep happy, personally I think you are doing just fine =D

Hi Shane.

I have spent some considerable time in reading your posts over the last few months and I would encourage you to have a blend of posts on your blog. You should aim to post articles more often with a 'killer' article such as more great interviews once a week.

In between these 'killer' articles just a few words with some interesting points and perhaps links to useful blogs would keep Success Circuit 'alive and kicking'

I agree with Roland's suggestions. It would be good to aim at having one pretty good post every week and some other filler type posts. You can always create open ended posts that directly ask readers for their opinion about a specific issue.

I too would like a blend of the info you provide. I find the blog to be very good and provides me with some in sight as to the entrepreneur world from the beginners stand point. I feel the one thing that holds you back in businesss the lack of posts. I think by blending the two you could have a great thing going. If you look at the blog by Yanik Silver on marketing he provides a lot of personnel info on the trips and the problems of the business, By the way he does the under ground seminar that is well respected in the industry. He has also done a few in England and offers a free pass sometimes to young entrepreneurs. Check him out. By the way some of the other guys I would offer up t interview is Russel Brunson,Joel Comm ,and the president of Go Daddy.com. They all seem like they could be a great interview. Keep at it and have a great week.

I thinks that Interviews are the bast ways to know some thing about the successful person. By this we can know about their experience about work and their life. Many time we see that there are so many point where we were so much inspired with their view. Thus can change our life. thanks for sharing these links I will read all these posts.

I would prefer a nice blend. Your blog focuses on success and you seem to have further focused on interviews - which I think has worked really well for you! I definately think that you should keep your posts to the topic but just let your personality shine through the posts.

The reason I focus on interviews is the fact that surely it is better to learn about success, and more importantly the hardships, by a variety of people. Thank you for commenting so quickly after I published the post, have not seen you around here for a while! STAY.
