Your Website Is My Shower,

Hi, I am very sorry for the lack of content lately, and it will only get worse over the next month. This is because of my GCSE exams and revision for them. Do not worry though, Success Circuit will be back and better than ever after the exams are over. For now though the show must go on, just with shorter posts for now!

I just had a shower, people usually have ideas on the toilet but mine came whilst I was having a shower. The shower only got built in a few weeks ago, before that we had a bath. Why am I telling you this? Well, it is because I noticed something incredible: The hotter the shower, the less water there is.

I expect some of you have realised my point now. If you have a very generalised website then you could reach hundreds of thousands of people but they would not stay for long at all. However, if you write very posts of a very specific niche then you will reach less people but they will stay longer and probably become regular visitors.

I love the community atmosphere of some websites, particularly ProBlogger, and it is one of my biggest aims for Success Circuit. To be part of a community. It seems to me that niches have the best communities because of their purpose. A niche is a hot shower.

This is a very short post today so I shall make sure to update it when I can. Perhaps you could discuss it using our new Disqus commenting system? It has many more features so I have decided to give it a test run.

  • Good point. Write posts of specific niche topic then visitor stay long time and regular visit your site.

  • Pendants, this website has nothing whatsoever to do with baby showers. I am in two minds whether to leave your comment up, as some would class it as spam, but someone might be able to help you so I shall leave it up.
  • If your goal is to profit online, you really need to focus in on some niches. Those that have sites with a really broad topic tend to have problems with monetization and driving search traffic.

    I completely agree with you . I think so this has been in discussion between many bloggers quantity or quality .My preference and many of the bloggers i am sure prefer not quantity but quality.
    The hot shower is defiantly slow but still it has the quality thus always would attract few really good subscriber for you and your niche .

  • Thank you for commenting, it really is true that quality is better than quantity. Which is why I hate it when I write short, useless, posts just because I have not written for ages.
  • Many things come to me when in the bath. Various forms of mosquito, water snakes, crocodiles and oh yes occassionally a great idea!

  • Hahaha I am glad I don't use your bath!! It is strange how being in an environment where you usually do not have anything to record ideas is when the best ideas come! Same as in bed, which is why I try to keep a notepad and/or my phone nearby.
